Individual Psychotherapy

What is Psychotherapy?

The Ordre des psychologues du Québec defines psychotherapy as a psychological treatment that “aims to provoke changes in attitudes, behaviors, ways of thinking, or reacting in a person, in order to help them feel better, find answers to their questions, solve problems, make choices, and better understand themselves.” In Quebec, a license is required to practice psychotherapy.

Psychosocial Intervention

We offer virtual individual psychosocial intervention sessions lasting 50 minutes for adults, in both English and French.

What is Psychosocial Intervention?

Psychosocial intervention aims to support individuals who are facing personal, relational, or social challenges by offering assistance tailored to their reality. It is based on a holistic approach that takes into account the emotional, cognitive, social, and environmental dimensions of each person. Psychosocial intervention helps individuals better understand and manage daily difficulties, strengthen self-esteem, and promote healthy, fulfilling relationships.
